Boss Warehousing will discuss all project requirements e.g. lead-time, volume, site location, number of SKU’s, technology (WMS and interaction other systems) with the client and the desired Service Level that should be reached. All stages, from requirements and design till the implementation and execution of operations of the warehouse will be guided by Boss Warehousing. This also includes finding the right site, warehouse design and furnishing, IT-infrastructure, staff etc.

Definition

What are the achievements that are needed in a certain timeframe. How fast should the service should startup. What are all related requirements to the project. All steps are discussed to increase the success rate of your business without facing unnecessary and unexpected costs.

Design

Based on the previous input and scenario’s a warehouse design is made.

Preparation

In this stage the right location and assets will be located. Also processes are going to be custom made, staff plan created and correct systems will be chosen.

Implementation

In this stage the implementation has taken off. This can be splitted in two sets. The first one is related to the warehouse such as installing racking, systems, configuration and testing. The second set is the onboarding of the client as smooth as possible.

Continuous improvement

The “after care’ stage is a continuous improvement model. There should be always space for continuous growth the achieve the best revenue on the short and long term.
